of shops. There you can find all what you need to
live like clothes, electrics, restaurants, cosmetics and
jewelry. In the city center are three important points
where you find all sorts of shops. First mentioned
should be the strip mall where are big department
stores and fashion boutiques like Esprit, H&M,
Galeria Kaufhof and a lot of smaller stores like
DropIn (clothes), Christ (jeweler), and Müller (drug store).

It’s a big buying center which was build from 1982 to 1984 in an area which was completely destroyed in the Second World War. The special is that the Löhr Center was one of the first buying centers of its day in Germany. 32.000 square meters invite you to shop in about 140 stores. If you need food or things for the household you should go to Globus, a big supermarket, if you want to buy a book or an magazine you should go to Thalia and if you are hungry you can choose between German, Turkish, Chinese and Italian food. I prefer three stores in the Löhr Center. First it’s the big
Peek & Cloppenburg, the best fashion store in Koblenz in my opinion. It’s for young and old and you can buy clothes for low prices if you are a poor student or you can buy expensive clothes of notable brands like Lacoste, Ralph Lauren and Thommy Hilfiger if you aren’t. The trained staff will help you to find the right size and to create a trendy look. Then there’s the Jack & Jones/Vero Moda fashion store at the first floor. That are two shops in one accommodation. One part is for young women, the other is for young men. They offer good clothes for fair prices and the staff is very kind like my study friend Patrick. And if you need new shoes I advise you to go to Perplex at the basement floor. There is only one serious problem at Löhr Center, the too small parking area. If you want to park your car in the direct near you have to get up early. And you should know that the Löhr Center car park is only opened until 8:00 pm.

But
I think one restaurant should be accentuated and that’s
Vapiano, a restaurant which offers Italian food like
pizza, pasta and salad. Vapiano is a
famous German company
with establishments all over the world, for example
in Australia, the UK, the USA and the United
Arab Emirates. The special thing is that you can see
your meal while it is prepared by the cook. So you get
fresh food for appropriate prices. Shortly the Mittelrhein
Museum and the public library will find place
in the second building of Forum Mittelrhein.

Nice information but what is a 'strip mall'!?!
